Loury Lagardère is a French adventurer and explorer. He’s always looking for the next super human achievement to conquer and this time it was to cross one of the largest glaciers in Europe, by himself.

Loury Lagardère contacted me last winter in preperation for his attempt to cross the Vatnajökull glacier,
by himself. The goal was to document the days before he left, while he prepared physically and mentally for the extreme challenge that awaited him. It was a brilliant experience, getting some insight into his ways
of looking at things and the way he handled the obstacles that appeared the days before the crossing.
