Reykjanes UNESCO Global Geopark

a hidden gem in Iceland

Reykjanes UNESCO Global Geopark is one of only two geoparks in Iceland. Earlier this year, I was introduced to their vision and offered the task of providing content with an extensive unified look for their websites, social media platforms, marketing, etc.

The work is ongoing but here is some of the results so far.

Reykjanes is a rough area, not known for sunshine and rainbows, but has a lot of epic and unique landscape. My goal has been to showcase that in an appealing way. Making use of bad weather, rough seas, hard landscape but at the same time having it look exciting and interesting. Never imagined that this area had so many hidden gems. Take a look for yourself.
